Dans Ruzalka, la danseuse et chorégraphe albanaise, norvégienne et kosovare Thjerza Balaj personnifie cette figure mythique, mais dans une version hybride où l’identité, le pouvoir et la luxure deviennent fluides, changent et évoluent. Dans une obscurité veloutée et rythmée par de la techno hardcore, elle explore le désir, la domination et repousse les limites de la danse.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator color= »custom » accent_color= »#fb6717″][vc_column_text]Née en 1995, Thjerza Balaj est une danseuse et chorégraphe formée à la Danish National School of Performing Arts et au Royal Conservatoire d’Anvers. Elle réside et travaille actuellement à Copenhague, au Danemark. L’immédiateté et l’intimité sont des éléments clés de ses œuvres. Sa pratique chorégraphique aborde le regard féminin, les dynamiques de pouvoir et l’étrangeté. Jouer avec des intensités changeantes est une approche constante dans sa pratique, à la fois hardcore et éphémère. Elle a précédemment collaboré avec des chorégraphes et artistes tels qu’Ingri Fiksdal, Jules Fischer et Esben Weile Kjær.
