Isam Abad Montalvo est un performeur équatorien basé à Lausanne. Né à Quito, il commence la danse à 6 ans — du ballet au breaking, puis la danse contemporaine, la capoeira ou le partnering. Après des tournées en Équateur, la vision eurocentrée de la danse contemporaine le pousse à poursuivre sa formation à la Contemporary Dance School of Hamburg, puis à La Manufacture à Lausanne, dont il sort diplômé en 2024. Malgré le choc culturel et la précarité, il a trouvé une communauté et a fini par s’enraciner. Il mêle désormais travail corporel, chant et DJ-ing. Son travail a été présenté à Perrrformat, aux Urbaines, au TU Genève et au Lila Queer Festival. Il est un des fondateurices et danseureuses régulièr·es du Kiss My Ass Club à Zürich.

Isam is an Ecuadorian performer based in Lausanne. Born in Quito, he began dancing at age 6—from ballet to breakdancing, then on to contemporary dance, capoeira, and partnering. After touring in Ecuador, the Eurocentric perspective on contemporary dance prompted him to continue his training at the Contemporary Dance School of Hamburg, then at La Manufacture in Lausanne, from which he graduated in 2024. Despite the culture shock and financial instability, he found a community and eventually put down roots. He now combines physical performance, singing, and DJing. His work has been presented at Perrrformat, Les Urbaines, TU Genève, and the Lila Queer Festival. He is one of the founders and a regular dancer at the Kiss My Ass Club in Zurich.
